The Great Smoky Mountains
The most-visited national park in the country for a reason nobody argues with once they have seen the ridgelines disappear into actual smoke-coloured haze, black bears that outnumber the trail signs, and a fall colour show that starts at the top and rolls downhill for weeks.
The best time to visit The Great Smoky Mountains is Apr–May, Oct, when typical daytime highs reach about 22°C (72°F). Local time there is 01:16 (UTC-4).
